The Concept

This reimagined retail space for The Row embodies an atmosphere of refined minimalism, where every detail feels organic and timeless. The store was designed to elevate the shopping experience beyond the expected, creating an environment that feels intimate yet sophisticated. Clean lines, warm textures, and natural materials ground the space, allowing the clothing and curated design moments to take center stage.


The Vault

At the heart of the store sits its defining feature: The Vault. Unlike any other retail experience, this preserved architectural vault was transformed into a striking focal point, housing The Row’s antique collection. Its contrast against the store’s serene, organic design language sets it apart as a treasure within the space—an intimate gallery that speaks to heritage, rarity, and the brand’s appreciation for timeless craftsmanship.


The Design Process

Designing this store meant balancing restraint with moments of surprise. The process focused on paring back to essentials while layering in material richness—stone, plaster, wood, and subtle metal accents—each chosen for its longevity and quiet beauty. The Vault itself became both a challenge and an opportunity: integrating an industrial, existing structure into a seamless luxury environment required careful spatial planning and creative detailing. The result is a store that bridges past and present, embodying the ethos of The Row while offering visitors an experience that feels both grounded and extraordinary.
